1 of just 422 examples built with a 4-speed trans
High Bid of $ 80,000
Equipped with the rare and desirable 440ci Six-Pack V8 that produces a conservatively rated 390hp this is just one of only 422 hardtop examples built with a four-speed transmission. Sporting a 4.10 Dana rear end this example comes equipped with the priceless original Goodyear G70-15” redline spare, which was only produced for a six month time period. Making this particular Road Runner even more desirable is the fact that it is complete with its original VIN and fender tag and features the A12 package including its original lift-off hood, original “054” radiator, original air cleaner, and “H” code wheels.
The recipient of some hidden upgrades for performance and road use, this example features a Firm Feel Inc. quick ratio steering box, Polygraphite suspension bushings, custom DTS 3 ½” driveshaft, a hidden Mopar Performance electronic ignition, and ported factory manifolds that connect to a TTI mandrel bent performance exhaust.
The paint and brightwork remain in show quality condition as it has been properly maintained in climate control storage. Just as nice underneath as it is on top, it benefits from a professional detailing and looks almost just as good as the day it was restored. Offered in excellent running and driving condition, this is a rare opportunity for any collector however it would truly shine in any Mopar or muscle car collection.
