1977 Lincoln Continental Mark V Bill Blass Edition
Lot No. 346
Sold for $ 11,000
This Bill Blass Edition Mark V is finished in Midnight Blue Metallic contrasting with the landau vinyl roof in chamois color and pigskin texture. Chamois was also chosen for the interior of leather and vinyl. The pigskin texture is utilized on the seating surfaces, straps and door panel inserts. The Bill Blass identification is in the opera windows. The Lincoln is powered by a 400-cid, 179-hp V-8 engine connected to a three-speed automatic transmission. Optional turbine styled cast-aluminum wheels help to convey the distinctive style and opulence of the designer series. This Bill Blass Edition has been in the same family since new and it clearly shows the care they gave it, appearing as it did largely on the day it left the factory. With only 19,655 miles showing on the odometer, original paint and original tires this Continental even retains a new car smell inside.
